So.. I've started watching Avatar The Last Airbender.
I had heard of it before from friends, but never checked it out, until now, and let me tell you, I'm hooked!
I adore the movement, the way the animation flows so naturally. Nothing about this cartoon is stiff or contrived. I also find the aesthetic to be a great combination of eastern and western style. Plus it's just plain funny!
While I watch Avatar I love finding the "lines" and figuring out the animator's style. I feel like this dragon I drew captures a bit of the Avatar feel.. a little bit. He's an ancient grandpa dragon. His adventures are well passed him, but they still live within his memories.
